The Evolve Playing Pants were born from a simple idea: to rethink what a paintball pant should be. We started by focusing on the essentials: fit, function, and fabrics. Every movement on the field demands freedom, durability, and comfort, so we designed from the ground up to deliver all three without compromise.
When developing the fit, we paid close attention to the actual movements paintball players make: different types of squats, kneeling positions, crawling, sliding, sprinting and jumping. Whether you’re standing tall behind a back center or squeezing behind the smallest bunker on the field, the Evolve Pant is built to move with you. We wanted to ensure your legs and hips could perform freely and naturally, without restriction, in every playing situation.
After taking a deep dive in the evolution of paintball pants, from rugged woodsball gear and heavy padded designs of 00's to the ultralight technical pants and jogger era. Each stage had its strengths, but also its limits. The next step wasn’t to go tighter or lighter; it was to go functional. The Evolve Pant represents that next evolution.
We crafted it with heritage in mind, but redefined through advanced materials and meticulous craftsmanship. The main body uses a custom-developed stretch GRID fabric. It is ultralight, incredibly flexible, and soft to the touch, yet very abrasion resistant. Its subtle grid texture gives it a distinct visual identity and performance.
For the knees, we sourced a special abrasion-resistant fabric made out of blended kevlar nylon, polyester, and spandex. Its raised-stripe surface and black PU coating offer superior resistance to wear, ensuring long-lasting protection through every slide, crawl, and dive.
The Evolve Pants features an elastic waistband with a simple drawstring tightening system, two zipper pockets, and barrel swab pockets on both sides for quick access during play. To finish the fit, we added a jogger-style hem, designed to stay in place under knee pads and prevent fabric from catching under your shoes.
The result is a pant that feels natural, moves with you, and performs beyond expectation. The Hormesis Evolve Pant is a new chapter on paintball pant story.
The pants fit loose, so if you want tighter fit size down and looser fit choose your regular size. The elastic waistband provides plenty of adjustability within each size.
