Squid Games - Player Band
Who will be our First Champion and take home the Grand Prize $?
Welcome to the first-ever Hormesis Squid Games.
How It Works
- You’ll receive a regular order confirmation right away.
- Within 30 minutes, you’ll get a game confirmation email from Hormesisgames@gmail.com. In that email you’ll be assigned your unique player number and your first task.
- Your band will arrive with a number printed on the tail — that number matches your player number.
- You may buy multiple bands, but each one must be assigned to a different person (see further explanation in the Buying Multiple Bands section below).
- Track your progress on the official leaderboard at https://hormesisattire.com/pages/hormesis-games, where you can see how many players are still left, the current task deadline, and other game updates.
From now until World Cup, a series of challenges will be sent to your email. Complete them to stay in. Fail to complete a challenge before the deadline and you’re eliminated.
Don’t worry if you’re eliminated early. After every elimination round there will be a giveaway that only eliminated players can win. These giveaways feature brand-new items that haven’t hit the website yet — exclusive upcoming World Cup stock.
Important Rules
- You are solely responsible for checking and responding to emails before each deadline.
- Add Hormesisgames@gmail.com to your contacts and check your spam folder so you don’t miss anything.
- You only get one chance at each challenge. There are no accepted excuses. Your score is your score.
- The games are designed to be played on your phone (highly recommended) but also work on a computer. Make sure you have a solid connection if you’re playing on mobile.
Prizes
The last person standing will be crowned the first Games Champion, get a headband named after them, and receive the lion’s share of the final prize pool.
The prize pool starts with $500 store credit from Hormesis, plus an additional $5 from every band sold is added on top.
For example, if 200 people buy in, the total prize pool grows to $1,500 store credit.
Places 1–5 win store credit from the prize pool that can be used online or in person at World Cup.
Buying Multiple Bands
You can purchase more than one band to get family and friends involved.
After you receive your player number, you’ll get a follow-up email asking who to send game invites to (first name + email). Those people will have to complete the challenges themselves using their own unique player number and email. You cannot complete challenges for them.
Example: You buy 3 bands — one for you, one for your wife, and one for your daughter. You’ll get your number first, then an email asking for their names and emails. If someone is too young to have their own email, you can create a dedicated email just for this purpose so they can still participate and be tracked properly.
